The School of Law, Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS), Ilorin organized the Moot Court Trial for students on Saturday 30th September, 2023.

Moot Court is one of the core courses in the School of Law of the College. The course is designed to expose the Law Students to practical aspect of their Programme. In fact, the course is a major course in Law School before a Law Graduate could be called to Bar.

The theme of this year's Moot Court Trial centered on Constitutional Law that revolved around the distribution of the wealth of a deceased Muslim to his heirs which should be determined based on Shariah.

The event was a huge success considering the number of people that participated in the event. Among the dignitaries that witnessed the event were the Deputy Provost Academic, Registrar, College Librarian, Director of Works, Dean of School of Law as well as the parents of the students.

At the end, the Trial Judge commended the College Management and more importantly, the Lecturers of the School of Law for the excellent performance of the students at the Trial.
