The Directorate of Academic Planning, Entrepreneurship and Quality Assurance, Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (KWCAILS), Ilorin organized Empowering Digital Proficiency for all Academic Staff of the College on 5th October, 2023.

The programme aimed at empowering Academic Staff with necessary digital literacy skills that will assist in education landscape. It is also to establish a Central Hub for various administrative tasks and collaborative tools through the systemics Staff port utilization.

The event began with prayer and followed by the opening address by the Ag. Director of Academic Planning, Entrepreneurship and Quality Assurance Ustaz Kamaldeen Sofiyulahi Kamaldeen. In his speech, he said that "this training has been organized with utmost consideration for your professional growth and development. We recognized that in today's digital age, proficiency in tools like e-mail and online portals is not just an advantage but necessity" he stated further that, " Today's training is a step toward ensuring that we are all well equipped to exploit you with practical knowledge and hand-on-exprience empower you to use these tool confidently.

Finally, the training generated enthusiastic interactive sessions with various activities such as; Staff Portal, Result Portal and Setting up email that was being facilitated by Eng. Taofik Abdulkareem Babaita (HUMAYA VENTURE).
