In order to advance the teaching and learning of Information and Communication Technology, ICT, in Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS), Ilorin, the Officer- Incharge of "Computer Literacy for All' as well as the HOD Computer Science Department, Mr. Ahmed Abiodun Taofiq has judiciously used the fund released by the management for the programme to purchase new Generator to the ICT Unit of the College.

While handing over the generator to the College Management on Monday May 27, 2024, Mr. Ahmed Taofiq Abiodun said that it was necessary to contribute when he realised that the only solar power at the Unit had been vandalized, thus impeding the smooth service delivery during the computer training session.

The Acting Provost, Dr. Sa'ad Hadi commended him for his selfless service and contributions towards the development of the College and for making the" Computer for All Literacy" programme more effective for students.

The College Registrar also expressed the appreciation of the College Management to the HOD. He therefore described the development as an alternative source of electricity power supply that will enable the ICT perform maximally to broaden students skills and capacity in modern communication technology accordingly.
